What is the best stuff for chapped lips?

I play the oboe so my lips are chapped from the reed and plus the cold weather, my lips are crazy-chapped. I've tried Aquaphor, Burts Bees, and tons of lip glosses. Any suggestions? :)

Do not use lip gloss except for a quick fix, I only use lip gloss in the morning if my lips are dry to help them look a bit better later in the day but they soon dry out again, simple chapstick or vaseline work wonders for chapped lips but make sure you only use a little because they can make your lips look greasy.x





Oh yes drinking water is also good for chapped lips, it helps to hydrate them, and your skin, again.x
i have the same problem (except i play the clarinet heh :P)


i use blistex...the one that comes in a red box and it's a squeezable tube...it says it has medical ointment or something in it. It works really well for me...

put honey on your lips and leave it for 10 minutes.





than scrub your lips with toothpaste with a toothbrush nad the minute you dry them lock the moisture in with vaseline.
I use Mary Kay's SPF chap stick it is pretty good and it is SPF.Before you go to work or school wash your lips with cold water also.
When I have chapped lips, I use a wet toothbrush and brush the dry skin off my lips. Then I apply Chapstick. It works for me.
it sounds silly but dip your toothbrush in vaseline and brush your lips..this helps to exfoliate them. then wipe off any excess vaseline, leave on enough to moisturize your lips though
'chapstick' you can buy it from chemists....and lots of water!
A chap stick called Soft Lips. It's very soft on your lips and you can find it like anywhere.
