What is a really good lip treatment for dry, wind-chapped lips?

My boyfriend works construction during the winter and is suffering from really dry, chapped lips. Are there any brands/specific types that would be best for healing his lips? What is a really good lip treatment for dry, wind-chapped lips?
Blixtex medicated, it's in a small tube like thing that is white, it will help get his lips better fast, or just use burt's bees, those are my two favorites. Also I like carmex, just the original. What is a really good lip treatment for dry, wind-chapped lips?
get something from whole foods. look at the ingredients. don't get anything with any chemical sounding stuff or peppermint oil. the ones that are most effective will have high saturated fat, like cocoa butter, shea butter, palm oil, or coconut oil. my fave is alaffia. also exfoliating the lips regularly with a rough washcloth or a sugar scrub.
Carmex is the best and along with that drinking more water. I know it sounds crazy but in the winter we drink a lot less water because we don't sweat and it's not hot. On top of that the heaters in our house are very dehydrating on our skin.
when i was taking accutane (an acne medication that severely dries out ur lips) i found that carmex and burt's bees worked the best

also, blistex helps a lot

i don't like the regular chapstick brand, personally. it prevents but doesn't heal
If you haven't tried Vaseline, try that. If that doesn't work, use Blistex (not the tube kind, the ';tub';-like kind). That usually works.
Carmex - Mint is my fave. Or Smith's Rosebud Salve - been around since 1892.
burt's bees is best
