What is it like to kiss a person with chapped lips?

I know this is gross and I shouldn't think about it so much, but my new boyfriend has kinda chapped lips. I've never kissed anyone before, and of course I want to kiss him, but is it weird to kiss someone with chapped lips? (They aren't gross or anything, just, you know, a little chapped from the winter.)What is it like to kiss a person with chapped lips?
