Is there a way to not have chapped lips besides using chap stick?

i always get chapped lips is it really normal? Is there a way to not have chapped lips besides using chap stick?
It depends on what is causing the chapped lip condition. If you are overly conscious of getting chapped lips, you may be licking or smacking them, thinking that it will help. It doesn't! Instead, it will accelerate the chapping process. If you are exposed to sun or wind, you should add some form of protection on the lips. I like to use a lip balm made of beeswax. For sun exposure, you need to have protection, so be sure to use a sunscreen based lip balm or gel in this case.Is there a way to not have chapped lips besides using chap stick?
Put vaseline on for about 3-5 minutes then get a old tooth brush and wet with water then brush your lips like you where brushing ur teeth Report Abuse

Rub cream on them every night before you go to bed
Don't use vaeline ever (petroleum on your skin contrary to marketing and belief is really bad and makes it worse)

Drink water and apply pure vitamin e (cut the capsule open and apply as often as you need to especially before bed)

Take a multi vitamin
Use Vaseline, the original petroleum jelly or lick your lips a lot.
You may be licking your lips to much. Put some Vaseline or Chapstick on them.
Chapped lips are one of the first signs of dehydration. If you are drinking plenty of water every day, you shouldn't have chapped lips.

Also, Mary Kay has a lip mask with 2 steps that doesn't take more than a couple minutes. The first, a mask that you put on your lips and once it dries, you just rub it off. This removes all the dead skin from your lips. Then you come back with step two, which is a lip balm that leaves them hydrated and nice. You only have to do it maybe once a month at home and you lips should be fine, as long as you keep yourself hydrated.
Before you go to bed put lot's of Vaseline on them, It will work wonders.
besides using chap stick, drink lots of water. It keeps your lips moist.

don't worry, I always get chapped lips, it is normal. It could be, depending on where you live, that cold weather. Or if you sleep with a fan right on your face, that always gets my lips chaped, but I still do it. Put chap stick on everytime you think of see one. I always put it on before bed and like 10 times during the day, and remember to drink plenty of water!!
