I haven't had chapped lips in years. Then my boyfriend got them when he went to mexico, and he kissed me and then I got them. He totally gave me chapped lips.Is chapped lips contagious? Can you kiss someone and give it to them?
Chapped lips are not contagious. They are caused from windburn or dehydration. The best thing to do to get rid of them is put neosporin on them (especially at night ) and they will heal usually by morning. Then use chapstick or blistick (I like it best) whenever you go outside when it is windy and when you are not drinking enough liquids.Is chapped lips contagious? Thats actually a good qustion! It is not the chapped lips that are contagious by theirselves its what underneath chapped lips. If you kiss someone who has chapped lips that have like hep b you could get it if they are cracked and you have the slightest sore in your mouth so, umm i probably do not think that i would kiss anyone that has severe chapped lips

Chapped lips aren't contagoius. They are caused by dehydration. Drink more and use chap stick. It was probably the dry heat that gave you chapped lips.
