How do you reduce redness from chapped lips?

im on accutane and my lips are chapped as i expected but i was wondering if anyone knew how to reduce the redness...it kinda looks like i attempted to put on lipstick lolHow do you reduce redness from chapped lips?
Try Vaseline, a little bit of Vitacilina (you can get it at places like Food-4-Less or Vallarta, which sell Latin products) or pure honey -- but don't lick it off! All-natural aloe vera will probably help as well.

Good luck! I hope the Accutane works for you.How do you reduce redness from chapped lips?
I'm on exactly the same treatment now, but in Britain. I have the same problem, so I'm glad you asked this question. Thanks, x Report Abuse

You are trying to get rid of redness, so you need something that constricts blood vessels:

Put a few drops of Visine on your red lips.

Then apply chapstick that has mint or menthol added like Burt's Bees Lip Balm.
well, try drinking a lot of water. my dad told me that could really help. if i doesnt, the use burts bees lip balm. it works so well, and you can find it @ a walgreens. that stuff kinda chills ur lips and tastes like crap, so u wont wanna lick them. then, they hydrate your lips, and they look normal again.
try and buy a chapstick that has green tea in it ...it will soothe the redness and your lips should be semi normal atleast.... or try putting cool green tea bags on you lips for a couple minutes....

whats accutane??
Try putting a little bit of Vaseline on the outside of your lips, where the redness is. Then put a chapstick on. Then eat some fruit.
vaseline, chapstick, any moisturizing lip balm
i don't know
